Chair fitness is a gentle form of exercise blended with stretching We will use the chair as a prop to execute specific exercises. We will work on upper, middle and lower body. Most exercises are done in the chair, and then we work on balance and strength with standing exercises using the chair. Throughout the class, stretching will be incorporated. Appropriate for all levels of physical fitness.
Instructor: Emily Zeitler has been teaching fitness classes for 8 years and is a certified personal trainer. She loves to challenge her students and see them succeed. She strives to make fitness available to everyone.

The ancient Chinese practice of Qigong is a practice of flowing graceful exercises that
is best described as poetry and meditation in motion. Qigong consists of simple standing exercises that enhance flexibility, muscle tone, and breathing, which together can produce a state of relaxation and sharpened awareness. The movements can easily be adapted for all ages and for physical challenges.
As a way of saying "thank you" to all of you who have participated in his Qigong classes, David is offering two FREE sessions - Wednesday, November 29 and Wednesday December 6. No need to sign up - just show up!
Instructor: David Hamilton discovered Qigong by accident 16 years ago. He has been practicing and studying Qigong ever since. He began teaching for the Williamsburg Learning Tree in 2014 and since then has taught 9 Qigong classes.
